The warmest ‘Thank you’ to the whole Penzance Vet team, which made one of my biggest experience come true. I spent my obligatory internship as part of my studies for 4 month in Hout Bay, South Africa and it was such a great time to put theory into practice, to improve my subject-specific knowledge as well as to learn for life 🙂
All of them are so open-minded and kind. It didn´t take a long time to feel myself as part of the team. It´s phenomenal how enthusiastic the vets are. They love their job and are dead keen to teach you something. At the same time they are pretty patient and never forget fun at work. They gave me so much trust regarding to work with the animals.
I absolutely recommend the Penzance Vet Clinic to everyone who wants to combine learning a lot on the one hand and go out for travelling on the other in the most beautiful country I´ve seen so far.

First of all: We had an amazing time here!
We were warmly welcomed and seen as a part of the team for this short two months. Everybody is helpful and patient at any time.
You can ask everything you want – there are no stupid questions!
We had learned a lot, from handling the different animals, doing practical vet stuff up to getting in touch with diseases we not really see in Germany. The best of all was, that there is always time for fun at work! Everbody loves their job and this is wonderful to see.
This clinic is recommended for everybody who wants to learn a lot, meeting great people, having fun and enjoying this beautiful country at the same time J
